PWA’s are great when used the right way.
PWA’s are great when used the right way. The option to have them installed on any operating system without having to compile for each platform is a gift (not to speak of the countless hours of debugging and having separate code repository for each platform).
You are comparing the headphone jack decision by Apple to Mozilla’s decision to not support PWA.
Honestly, I’ve had to laugh because that’s no comparison at all because Mozilla is nowhere near where Apple is. I’ve used to only work with Firefox, but they completely lost their way. Firefox has become slow and outdated.
Their decision not to support PWA is just pure ignorance as others like Microsoft and even Apple (though with limited support on iOS) support using PWA.
Calling for a widespread end of a technology because an organization with a mediocre install base doesn’t want to support it, is just hyperbolic.
